when did you start trying for baby #2?

Just curious. Did you start early? Why? Did you wait a while? Why? Did you not want any more kids? Why? Just had my first in December, and I can already feel baby fever coming on in the future.

Started trying this month, baby #1 is 11 months. We are currently 4 weeks 3 days with #2. We did not expect it to happen the first month trying but we're excited. My reasoning is that I want them to be close in age, my sister is 4 years older than me and we were never close, still aren't, she was ready to hang out with the adults when I really wanted a playmate. I also would prefer it to be pure craziness for awhile with 2 under two, vs finally being able to sleep at night and being out of diapers and then doing it all over again.

i waited 11 years after i had my first bc for 1) i was only 16, 2)i had to finish my education, 3) i had to own a home before trying again.  So i decided that after i finished getting my bachelor's, we would start trying and my birth control was due to be removed anyway.. i finished school in Nov of 2015, took out my Mirena in Dec of 2015, and got pregnant April 2016.. I kinda always thought 2 kids were the perfect number, but now I'm thinking about a 3rd?? idk.. i would like to have it before i turn 30, which would be within 2yrs.. hmmm 🤔

I'll probably start trying for #2 after my kid turns one. Maybe not right away, might give it a few months after that, but we know we want them close in age!

I am 20 with a 1 month old I don't think I'll start trying again until I am 25 but if anything happens before hand I won't regret it! Tho labour was not fun or easy for me 28 hours.

My son turned 3 in August and I got pregnant in September. So when the baby comes in June he will be turning 4 two months later. I probably would have lost my mind if I had them any closer lol. I wanted my son to have a lot of one on one contact with my husband and I without having another child around. I also wanted him to be potty trained and a little more independent.

I started trying when my daughter was out of diapers/potty trained which was at age 3. I didn't want to buy diapers for two babies!! Finally had my son when my daughter turned 4.

Oh man my son was born last February and I got the fever in like may or June! Started trying in October and conceived then too! Due in July!

6 months after.  I have PCOS and didn't know how long it would take.
