I just used my very first tampon!!!

Guys. Guys. I know this is dumb and y'all are gonna laugh at me..BUT I JUST USED MY FIRST TAMPON. i thought i'd never be able to but I DID IT. Guys!!!! I'm so happy!! Also--is it normal to kinda be able to feel it?? Or should i shove it up higher ???
