skipping two in a row?

Hey everyone, so my next two periods are due on my birthday and for my 3 year anniversary with my partner.

I've been on the pill since May 2015 (21 days active, 7 inactive), and have only attempted to skip it once, (July 2016), but it didn't work out, and I ended up spotting all the way until I took inactive pills again.

I'd rather not have it for my birthday and anniversary, but am worried about skipping two periods and spotting again. Any advice? Xx

I frequently skip the sugar pills and I don't have any issues. As long as your doctor told you it is okay you should be fine. I have noticed that if I try to skip too many in a row (about 3) I tend to have some spotting so I take the sugar pills the next month which kind of resets my system since it lets me have my period.

You could stack your pills meaning that as soon as you finish the last week of your active pills, you just skip the placebos and start your new pack on the first week of actives. It'll stop your period and after your anniversary you could go back to the normal schedule of taking them if you wanted to.
