mirena iud caused cysts???

I've had my mirena for about a year and I recently went to the doctor and found out that I have a bunch of small cysts on both of my ovaries. My options are leave the iud in and deal with the pain or take it out and go back on the pill. The pill made me nauseous all the time and I rarely remembered to take it and it made my period and acne worse (which is what I got out on it for originally)
