polyamory: taboo or acceptable?

I'm in a very loving and happy polyamorous relationship with my best friend and her husband. We haven't had any problems with family or friends. If anything they're incredibly supportive! I was just wondering what an outsiders view on it was. Has anyone had a similar relationship?

I couldn't do it, I couldn't share my man. I respect polyamorous relationships though, whatever works for you! And y'all look happy! Do you ever get jealous though?

I wouldnt be able to do it myself and I always wonder why people do it. Like not to be rude I dont care what other people do. I think doing what makes you happy is the most important part of life. Im just curious as to what intrigues people about having multiple relationships. Again, not judging nor trying to be rude. Im genuinely curious!
