story time with baby?

Question

Do any of you mommys read your babies stories? If so, how do you incorporate it into an already very set routine? Like adding it at bedtime maybe? I would like to start reading to my boy since we have so many books but I'm not sure when to do it during our day?

I read to my baby before bed. It's part of her nighttime routine. We read the same book every night so she knows that bedtime will follow. I also have books that are safe for her to look at herself, and she "reads" those during her morning playtime. If she is really fussy, I carry her in my Ergo carrier and read one of my books to her then too. The combination helps her calm down.

I've started now and am 20 weeks.. I figured it wouldn't hurt and could possibly become an avenue of comfort down the road for our LO

We have story time every night I have older kids (3&5) it was easy for me to get my youngest on the same schedule as my older child. I nursed him to sleep at  story time. Story time is after shower/ brushing teeth and right before bed time. If
You start when they are babies they will enjoy it for a life time.

I started the week we came home from the hospital reading while he breastfed. Now that he is a little older We wake up around 7 baby eats, then we go down stairs he plays in his bouncer seat or on the table on his bobby delux until I have my coffee and cereal then we read books and he eats again and takes A morning nap. We also read books during the day when just sitting around. He just turned two months and stares as the pages now and I love it.

We do it after his morning nap. We will eventually do it at night when he's older
