Help: Bf Left Me Because I Am Too Focused On School

I'm a junior in high school, I have a 4.0 grade point average and I'm a very hard worker. My boyfriend of two years ended our relationship (through text.. again) today because he feels like I don't care about his feelings and I'm only focused on school. Keep in mind that I've totally devoted every single second to his needs and have pushed my needs aside just so he can be happy. Now- the one time I'm really stepping up to the plate in school for college entrance exams- he wants me to focus on him and only him. I've apologized to him several times that I don't put him aside intentionally and would love to make it up, but he ignores me and insults me afterwards. Telling me "you're the worst part of my day." So he ended it. Through text. The point is- I don't know whether to leave the relationship in the past or talk it out. I don't know what to do.
