Beautiful baby boy was born at 17.43 on Monday 30th Jan 2017. I had been induced 6pm the day before everything went really well up until it was time to push and baby's head wouldn't stay low enough down. I pushed for an hour and then the doc suggested forceps as support. I agreed as it meant my baby would be here in ten minutes. Unfortunatley I suffered numerous tears and lost over two litres blood. It all got very scary and a lot of people were working on me at the same time. Luckily I passed out so wasn't really aware. My partner and the team at the RVI Newcastle Upon Tyne were absolutely amazing. We are now at home recovering with our little boy. Happy days.
