Hi, was just wondering if anyone can give me a bit of advise as to what to expect at an early scan. I found out I was expecting a week ago, I've had really bad morning sickness and was prescribed something for it. I've had blood on 2 separate occasions and I was up the other night with excruciating pain. I went to see a doctor and she referred me to the early pregnancy unit for an early scan to check everything is okay. My mum also made me go to a&e to get checked over but they also said I had to go to this scan because there was nothing they could do at this hospital. I'm really worried something bad is happeneing to my baby and just want to see if anyone else has experienced it and what to expect at this scan today. My last period was the 22nd December. I'm not sure if it was my period (because it only lasted a couple of days) or if it was infact implantation bleeding! I haven't seen a midwife yet so I don't know how far I am.
