First Word?

My daughter is 7 months. I think she said her first word my husband is less convinced.
Laying in bed I asked where's dada and she turned to him and said dadadada then he said dada and she went dadada.

I mean it's kind of both. I'm sure that is her word for dad, but dadadada is not an ACTUAL word. Just friends on how you want to perceive it.

Our family always considered first words to be anything other than mama or dada because nearly every kid says them and they think it's more just an easy sound to make, not so much that they've actually gained enough understanding to form a complete word with meaning and intention and such 😂 but hey, depends how you define it.
My first words if you define it like that would've been dada too, but instead, the next actual first word of mine was "beer" 🤷‍♂️

And last night he clearly said BUB twice. Lol

Definitely first word, I told my husband if my day said dada first I'd cut him, lucky for him she said mama first then baba then dada hahah
