I had mine soldered. It was $60 and took about 4 weeks to get them back since the local jeweler was on vacation when I scheduled the appointment to go in and get it done.

Idk if everyone is like this, but Diamond District is where I got my rings and they welded them for free!

I find that local jewelers usually offer better prices. My ring was my mom and dad's and when I got it, it had to be resized, the prongs thickened, and add a small diamond that had fallen out and it only cost around $200.

I had mine done. They cleaned, sized, and soldered them for $90. They were done in 2 days.

Most places offer a warranty on rings and it covered in that. I got my first set done and would never do it again
