Pre Natal Massage???

Question

Has anyone ever gotten a prenatal massage in their 2nd/3rd trimester?? My MIL wants a girls day and wants to book massages for us. My sister said she had one and it was pretty lame. What are your thoughts? Have you had one? Was it worth it??

My prenatal massage with my first was the best thing I did for myself the whole 9 months! Just be sure you go somewhere that does them often and it should be great!

Yes! I just did one two weeks ago at 24 weeks and it was lovely...definitely wanting to go back now 😩

I have horrible pain during pregnancy so I did them. You have to tell them it's prenatal when you schedule it because not every therapist does prenatal, you'll have to lay on your side which is annoying. They tend to be overly delicate with pregnant women which is relaxing but not very helpful. I had to tell them I want very firm pressure and tell them to go harder during the massage. If you get the right therapist, it can be extremely beneficial. I tried 4 before finding the right one,  my sciatica improved a ton.

I was around 32 weeks and it was amazeing its just like a regular massage you just don't lie on your stomach... it feels especially good if you are uncomfortable at this point to...my baby was also breech #2 baby and that made it uncomfortable for me but once she turnes head down at 36 weeks ive been good..it cost $70 for 60 mins at a spa where i live, i say do it!!!
