Birth Control Implant??

Hey guys I'm trying to decide whether or not the Implant is the best choice for me. I've heard like a bunch of stories about how it extends your period or it lightens your period or it makes you gain weight and just a whole bunch of side effects. Does anyone have some advice or experience they could share please?
