Anterior positioned placenta
So I went for my 12 week check yesterday like normal. They went to find the heart beat and couldn't get anything so immediately sent me for an ultra sound. Don't worry baby is fine!! Come to find out my placenta is pretty strong and anterior meaning it's against my belly and the baby is behind it closer to my back. So they said I won't be able to hear the heart beat most likely for awhile and I won't be able to feel movement until much later than "normal"! Kinda stinks but glad baby is okay. Anyone else deal with anterior placenta?
