always lol even my male friends. Periods are NOT something to be ashamed or embarrassed about. I've learned that as i've grown

Well he'll yeah! I have a few good friends, and those are my period friends. My main friend group (featuring four other girls who are basically all of my best friends) are all pretty much synced when it comes to periods, so when one starts, you know you need to have everyone's preferred pad/tampon in hand just in case. On top of that, I have two guy friends who also know about satans waterfall. The only guys I talk to about it are the kind that don't find it awkward and have both on multiple occasions gotten me takeout. They Also, oddly enough, have a tampon in their lockers for emergencies. My friend group and I have a little period system, in which we are all in charge of making sure out stash for periods is stocked on one thing in particular. I'm personally in charge of medicine for cramps. My other friends have food, pads and tampons for everyone, a list of reasons to get out of class, and spare pants and underwear.

so my best friend is a girl who litterally can't even say vagina she is too embarrassed so we don't talk about periods but then i got this guy friend who's chill and super curious (he went to a private school so he had no sex ed or anatomy class) and i'm in nursing school so he and i talk about it all the time it started with him asking basic questions "can't girls hold it until they use the restroom?" "i know ya'll have cramps but is that like when you get leg cramps?" and now he's so cool about it like if he asks to hang out and i say "sorry not up for it. moon sickness" (moon sickness seriously make pms sound so much more peaceful and mysterious) he like shows up at my place with spaghetti (my number 1 craving) and we just hang out and he listens to me complain he's the best

All the time! Two of my friends are usually on their third day when I'm on my first and then my other friend just ended and we don't stop talking about it and laughing thinking who's going to go to the bathroom when so our teacher isn't suspicious when three menstrating girls leave to relieve

I have no boundaries. I realized that sometimes other people are really shocked and upset by this, and then a couple months later they get used to it and come to me with their questions or feedback. Everyone needs a safe person to talk to about periods and sex, so my outgoing personality provides a safe environment for a lot of girls.
