Breastfed baby not pooping everyday?

Anyone else have this issue with their LO?

My doctor told us yesterday that after a month, the reflex that they have to poop goes away and they have to do it on their own, so it may take a few days to get things moving again.

Baby should poop at least once every 24 hours. Our baby is 6 days old, exclusively breastfed, and have had 1 day with one poop. All other days he has pooped at least 4 - 5 times.

My 3 week old does not poop everyday. Lactation consultant said there is no problem as long as he's gaining weight and peeing a lot (full diaper at every feed). Take your baby for a weight check if you're worried!!

It's normal  for breastfed babies to not poop everyday. They have less waste to get rid of. :)
