sad vent
So, I'm a public breastfeeder. Not that I flash everyone but I carefully feed my child when he is hungry, wherever we are, if possible. 
I am also a soprano in our church choir... I've missed so many practices feeding him that I decided to try it, I wore a sweater poncho so no way was anything showing.
Nobody said anything when I stayed sitting while they stood. But I went to change sides and one of my best friends very kindly said "it would probably be ok if you didn't do that here." I was hurt.
That was the first time I had been asked not to feed my child. And it really hurt that it came from her.
I just needed to vent, I don't understand what could be inappropriate about feeding a baby, so I guess I'll go back to feeding him in the nursery and not knowing our songs. . .
