Dilemma.

So most of my family and friends know I'm pregnant and with triplets. I live far away from a lot of people due to military and it's hard to keep everyone updated. We have not officially announced the pregnancy on social media due to just being scared something might happen. But lots of my relatives are starting to ask about telling people on FB, they want to share it with everyone. I do too but I'm a little scared. I'm just wondering what did or would you do? I'm officially 12 weeks and 1 day now. Lol eventhough oviously there are still higher risks with multiples. My sister thinks I should wait until I find out gender since that's what she did. So around 16-20 weeks. Uhhgg.. I dunno. I guess the worry for me is as of right now I feel like if something negative happens I only need to tell close family and they could let everyone else know. But if I announce on FB I feel like I would then have to put a negative thing out there too. Am I just over thinking? Being to paranoid? Husband is no help he just says do what you want lol.
