vomiting during my period, is it normal?

I am fourteen years old and have really bad periods for about three years. It often starts off fine but about an hour after getting it I get intense cramps, a fever, shakes and vomiting. Also I sometimes faint. My periods last between 6 and 8 days and are quite heavy. I did not think this is normal but all my friends say I just need to toughen up. Is this something I should be concerned about? I would love some feedback thank you x
