reassurance

Since my son was born last feb my cycles have been no longer then 30 days. Ttc again this is our first month and I already hate it. Long story short I just took a hpt and it was neg, wasn't my fmu and I am Day 30 today. Have been feeling really weird last time I was pregnant didn't test until cycle day 36 and am very superstitious - so after all that I just want to know if hpt was negative today could it be positive in a few more days. If my cycles start changing duration now when we're trying again something in the universe hates me lol
