After birth PJ's? What to buy?

What are you ladies taking with you to wear after the birth? I can't decide between a nightgown or pajama pants with drawstring?

Just for comfort you're probably gonna wanna wear a gown, they'll be checking you plus the last thing you want after giving birth is feeling anything around your tummy or worrying about pulling pants up/down.

I'm bringing pajama pants and a nursing top. I'm buying black pajama pants... with my first I did the same. You bleed so much and have such a thick pad on that the pajamas pants made me feel like it helped hold everything in while I was re-adjusting in bed

I'm not bringing pjs but will be wearing the gown. I hear you bleed heavily and can leak so no point in ruining your own pjs..

Pj pants/shirts. I just make sure they are dark just in case a mess happens.

I have leggings for when I leave.  But at the hospital I have a night gown as they regularly check down there and I do NOT want to have to take my pants off each time.  (This may vary hospital to hospital though).
