Looks kind of like the cord. I'd wait until closer to 20 weeks to get another scan. At 13 weeks their genitalia isn't even fully developed.

I was always told I was having a boy At 13 weeks and now he's happy and healthy!

At my ultrasound my tech actually explained how they can tell that it's not the umbilical cord. She switched into that mode where you see the blood flow( red and blue) the cord will be full of red and blue and the genitails wont have much noticeable blood flow. That how it was explained to me anyways.

Looks like a boy nub but I wish it was a better shot because with nub theory you can be pretty confident around 13 weeks

I would wait until you're further along. I was told boy at 13 weeks with my first daughter. The ultrasonographer swore up and down it was a boy without question. When I returned for my 20 week u/s it was a girl.

I was told at 11 weeks 6 days it looked like a boy by the ultrasound tech.. it was confirmed at 17 weeks :)

If they said boy it's definitely a boy since we all start off as females
