15yo going on the Patch

I am 15 years old and have had sex with my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years a couple of times. My mother knows and I have informed her that I would like to go on birth control. I have been doing my research and I think the patch is what I want to do the most. I have Factor V (a condition in which my blood clots very easy) and the pill birth control was not recommended to take with that condition. Can anyone give any advice or their experiences w the patch? Thank you!!
