UTI and I can't pee! help!!

Has anyone ever had a UTI that made it difficult to go pee? Not so much that it burns or anything but I legitimately struggle to physically pee. If so how long did it take to get back to normal?

It takes a lot of effort to pee and usually several hours from the time I feel like I have to pee to the time where I'm actually able to and it's horrible and frustrating. I just started an antibiotic yesterday.
