took my first BC pill an hour ago and I'm bleeding

According to <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a>, I wasn't supposed to start my period for another 5 days I literally took my first BC pill ever at 6:58 PM today and I am bleeding I have been so emotional all day and now it makes sense why I'm really confused though because of the birth control
