Why am I spotting

I'm wondering what does this mean..

Normally I do not spot in between periods.** But this is the 2nd month where it happens, for about a day. First time was 10 days after my period in December, then it was pink when I wiped. And it was after my ovulation days. January's period was red and a lighter flow for 4 days instead of usual 5-6. Now it's about 12 days after my period and yesterday I noticed red mucus when I wiped, I wore a liner and it was only a few spots, then stopped. I didn't have sex the day before. And I'm past ovulation days again.

February's period is another week or so away

Not sure what this is, I have to wait for a dr appointment at least a few weeks, I'm on vacation now. I'm just a little curious since it happened twice..

Not on BC of any kind, Pull out method with Hubby. Pretty Active. Not stressed.

**the only time I remember spotting with mucus I think it is, was about a month after I got pregnant and had my first child.
