Single and confused

So long story short I like this guy and he likes me. We went on a few dates. Things haven't been moving. I still like him but Idk if he still likes me. We talk and go out sometimes so would it be wrong if I go on a date or fool around with someone else? I felt bad if this would ruin ever being with him but at the same time I wanna enjoy being single while I still can and being that he's cute, smart, funny, and German ik he's got girls all over him.
