vomiting due to birth control pills?!!!

Ok question. Has anyone ever vomited when they first started taking birth control pills and did it stop or did you have to change your method? Last night I started on the pill for the first time and at 3 I became very nauseous and ended up throwing up twice. Is this normal?

Try taking them with food... itll take your body about 3 months to adjust to the pill so you may experience nausea i find if i eat with it im fine

Yes! This has happened to me, I figured out that I needed to take them after breakfast in order not to get nausea , something about the pill on an empty stomach made me feel sick

BC does commonly make people very nauseous, and if you have a weak stomach you can even through up from it. It's the hormones inside you. Please please know that if you take you pill and you throw up less than 3 hours after you took it, the pill didn't stay in your system and it counts as a missed pill.
