Does grapefruit affect the effectiveness of the pill?

I think I saw somewhere that it did and I don't know if it was true! Please vote and comment why because I love grapefruit but also don't wanna get pregnant.

Grapefruit typically intensifies the medication you're on. If it's hormonal, I would guess it could make things a little wacky. But I'm just guessing.

Yes it definitely can! In the brochure thing that comes with my birth control on the paper if you read through it, it says any ingestion of grapefruit can interfere with the hormones and how they work with your birth control. Not everyone has the same birth control pill, however most of the ones I've seen said that. Me being from the Caribbean it literally broke my heat haha because I love Grapefruit😂 but I would rather be safe than sorry if I were to eat it and it messes me up.
