Birth control without estrogen??

I have terrible terrible cramps and periods, and I'm seeing a gyno next week to get on birth control to get them under control or hopefully gone completely 🤞🤞🤞

I saw a doctor at my university last week, and she said that I can't go on estrogen based birth control since I get migraines with auroas, and is concerned about my petite size.

My friends have recommended the shot and I've been thinking about the implant too. Does anyone have experience or advice with those?
