So I went to visit my Dr today because of course I'm TTC#1 & with having PCOS, I rarely ovulate... she immediately suggests to put me on BC & Metformin for 3-6 months... I'm like wtf I'm TRYING TO get Pregnant why would I want to go on birth control for another few months before trying again... wtf. I told her I'll take the Metformin but other than that there wasn't much she suggested. She told me she doesn't do ultrasounds to check for Follicles, nor does she do blood test to check Progesterone levels... she said I'd be referred to a Fertility Specialist for that... she said that if I'm on Metformin for 3-6 months & still dont get pregnant THEN she'd maybe prescribe Clomid and what not. I'm kinda over it !! Can't stand this PCOS but currently AF is here for a visit so I hope my body is starting to regulate... what has worked for you ladies???
