nexlanon

So I just got the nexplanon implant yesterday at 10:00.  It went a lot better than I thought, but then again I am terrified to death of needles ha. So anyways, I have heard horror stories of getting your period non stop for a year straight and things like that. I haven't spotted or anything like the doctor said I would. Does that mean that I'm one of the few who will get no periods or lighter periods? Or is it too soon to tell? If anyone got their period for months non stop how soon til it started? Also, I took the bandage off early. I'm suppose to keep it on for three days but that kind of stuff really bothers me. Is that bad? Like will I mess things up?
