Baby coming soon?

Question

Am exactly 39 weeks today. Got a membrane sweep yesterday and bloody show this morning. Had some minor contractions today (not super painful though and definitely not consistent, so sounds like these aren't the real labor contractions). Keeping fingers crossed however that baby comes soon! Anyone else had their baby shortly after sweep and bloody show?

Update: 4 days after membrane strip and nothing has happened. Super frustrating.

Had my sweep Tuesday... 38+2 now and 3 cm 70% effaced. Bloody show and more mucus plus yesterday (been losing for a month now). Lots of cramping and contractions but nothing consistent.... still waiting. Have another sweep scheduled at my 39 week appt on Tuesday and then induction scheduled for Wednesday if no baby by then.

Had one yesterday but had already lost my plug so no show. Im waiting for more dilation still 😧 39 weeks 6 days

With my first had one on Friday afternoon, bloody show that night had him next evening.
My second had a sweep on a Thursday no loss, but had her next evening.

I had one at 40 weeks lost my plug all the next day and went into labor that night. Could be!

I've had two sweeps and lost my plug 6 days ago. Am currently 4 days overdue. Unfortunately I don't think it matters, baby will come when it's ready. Really am hoping that's soon!
