35 and unsure ...
So got married August 2016, came off my pill 30th September with the intention of starting to try for a baby in January 2017 (which was also the month I turned 35 years old). My first cycle was 44 days, my second cycle was 38 days (during which I tested a Clear Blue opk stick once and got a peak face but partner was travelling). January starts, we ttc during the window as opk sticks indicated but I never got a peak face. Initially I wasn't too worried as I got one the month before and thought maybe my body was still normalising from coming off the pill but cycle day 40 arrives and no period. I took two pregnancy tests both negative and went to the gyno who prescribed primolut to bring on my period. He told me to take one tablet, twice a day for seven days and the ideal scenario would be my period came during those 7 days, however, if not I should wait and see if it came the week after and if not then I go back to him for blood tests. I am now 5 days on primolut and still no period. Has anyone else used primolut or conceived with such long cycles? The wait is horrible, not to mention the bloating and cramps for the last 2 weeks, and im worried this is just the start of a long road of complications. Thank you in advance.
