No-touchy shield idea
I don't know why, but I just got the idea for a little shield that will automatically go up if someone other than parents and people the parents allow try to touch a young baby in a stroller/car seat. Since people don't seem to listen to signs and verbal warnings, imagine a physical barrier preventing them from rubbing flu germs all over a newborn. Parents would probably wear a ring(or use an app) that sent a signal to the barrier to stay down/come back down so the baby would still be exposed normally when unwanted people weren't making grabby hands at your little one. Obviously it would be air ventilated and not designed to stay up for more than a few minutes. Clear plastic on the top not opaque on the sides to allow parent and baby to see each other, but further deter unwanted attention (if kids can't see they'll lose interest). I wouldn't use it after the first few months, but with a newborn I think it could really help. All the parents I see running to the store with a newborn, presumably for the first time, already seem so overwhelmed and the fact that so many people (Walmart greeters are horrible offenders) stop them to try to touch a strangers baby! Probably a ridiculous idea with more flaws than perks, I'm just tired and left alone with my thoughts lol. Have a good day everyone that read to this point!
