What is a safe protein shake to drink while pregnant especially if you do not eat meat?

Answer

I had to drink Boost high protein through my whole first trimester because I was so sick and couldn't stand the thought of eating meat (pre pregnancy I ate meat) and it was the only thing I can keep down! I got the chocolate flavour. Now well off into my second trimester I continue to drink the boost because my body became used to it. I still don't eat a whole lot of meat now with my appetite as it just doesn't seem appetizing.  All my tests come back healthy and the baby is doing wonderfully :)

I like Shakeology! But I will caveat that 1- I'm not pregnant (although it is safe for preggo ladies to drink) and 2- it's a bit expensive. Whatever you decide though, definitely ask your Dr if it's safe for you and baby ☺️
