puppy won't stop crying help

With this dang dog. I'm raising my moms ranch dog until it's a dog (currently a tasty morsel aka puppy) and she won't stop crying at night. She loves her crate during the day but at night she whines howls and cries. She frequently has diarrhea in it as she gets too worked up about being in there at night and then I either have to clean up her crate at 4:30 in the morning or sleep her in the laundry room which she also cries about and scratches the hell out of the door. 

I can't let her sleep with us because I share my room with my 9 month old plus she chews on absolutely EVERYTHING. I'm out of options and not sure what to do! 😰 

***she is free to come and go from her crate throughout the day unless no one is home which is extremely rare. She goes to bed at 12:00 AM which is when I do and is let out around 4:30 AM to go potty and then let out for the day free to return to her crate or leave when I get up which is 7:00.
