Jogging Stroller Front wheel lock?

Ok I've seen a lot of jogging Stroller posts but who has one where the front wheel locks and doesn't swivel? I read online that baby trend doesn't have this feature and I'm going to use the stroller when I run so I definitely need it. Thanks!

Another vote for the BOB Revolution! I had 2 baby trend joggers with my first, one fixed front wheel and one swivel/fixed. I hated it. It Felt very cheap and wobbled when I started to jog. I love my new bob. Very sturdy, durable fabric, it has a hand brake, holds up to 75lbs and fits the car seat we wanted which was a Graco, and now a Chicco keyfit 30.

So dumb question.... I've had a graco jogging stroller for 4 years, I love it! The car seat clicked into it so I was able to use it right after I was given the go ahead at 6 weeks pp. I started with just walking and built up from there. I tried to lock the wheel to try out the difference, but I use it around the neighborhood and there are curves and cul-de-sacs so I could never get the running with a lock wheel right. Do you lock your wheel for straighter runs? Like on a bigger track or around big parks? I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant and I'm thinking of upgrading my jogging stroller because I did use it a lot! (My husband wasn't into the big price tag not knowing how much use it would get) I think with 4 years of use and a healthy lifestyle later should give me some leverage to get this mama a new one ;). I loved my graco for the first year of baby boys life, because I didn't go as fast, but as he got older and I could jog longer and then run I feel like having the wheels like bike tires is a better ride for little ones.

I have a Thule, & you can lock or unlock the front wheel.

You don't necessarily need the front wheel to lock when you run. I had the single bob revolution pro with my first baby and loved it. I loved it so much that when I had my second baby (13 months later), I got the duallie same stroller. I've never locked the wheel to run.

Both of my baby trend joggers (single and double) have a locking front wheel.

What most joggers don't have is a hand brake...mostly just the expensive ones do.

The front wheel lock is only necessary when actually jogging.
