the IUD and PID?

Has anyone ever accumulated or believe they've accumulated PID from their IUD. I was contracting BV more often then ever for the first 4 months I had it placed(April)... then I was diagnosed with PID late novemeber... I have been worrying myself over the PID because I know it causes severe damage... another question would if you've contracted PID w the IUD were you able to conceive again? Thank you, I would love and appreciate everyone's feed back and any information or knowledge they have with their IUDS and PID. ❤❤❤
