When did invites go out for your showers?

I'm having 2 showers, one for each side of the family, but neither group has sent out invites yet! I'm getting a little nervous because the showers are the 1st and 2ns weekend of March....but I don't want to nag the people hosting because then I'll seem ungrateful. It's stressing me out so much! 😳

My shower is the 18th of march we sent the invites out this week. My family is a pretty busy one so I'm trying to give a months notice.

My shower is the 1st weekend in March and invites went out last week. Typically when sending invites (showers, b-days & weddings) you try to give a months notice.

Just pull the "omg my pregnancy app freaked me out" card and mention some crazy girl said you should have sent them out already 😉

That or you can give people a heads up by telling them to save the date, you can even send an email.

My shower is end of March and I started sending invites this week, I may be early but everyone gets busy and I wanted them to keep it in mind

It's not nagging. It's pretty simple to address some invites & mail them off. Some people may have to take off of work to attend. Some may have 2 events that day... some may be ordering a gift online. I actually had to tell my sister to please send them today! Once you know the invites are out you'll feel much better! So don't hold back they know you're grateful!

My shower is the February 26th, and I sent out invites the last week of January. I am doing a Facebook reminder towards the end of next week! My in laws didn't do invites for theirs they just texted everyone like a week before(I didn't like that!)
