husband scared?

We tried for a year to conceive. It was hard and stressful. I found out a few days ago. And he was excited but he is terrified he thinks he isn't Ready or he won't be able to be a good parent. Anyone else's got scared when they first found out? What to do ?

At least he's talking about his feelings. My husband refuses to say when he's scared or nervous and expresses himself thru anger and picking frights over little things lol.

Mine was pretty panicked when we got our BFP (even though we were trying!) 
I think it's normal! 
Give him time to come to terms with the news. He can be both happy and terrified at the same time.

I'm on my 3rd baby and my husband is always scared and nervous with every baby. He is an overly amazing father and he is always excited but always gets nervous and scared. The closer it gets to the due date the more nervous he is. It seems to melt away after baby gets here though.

It's normal to be scared. My fiancé and I were trying and I wanted a baby so badly. Once I actually became pregnant I started to worry myself that I wasn't ready and wouldn't be a good mom. Would I be able to handle no longer having my fiancé to just myself. Would I be able to handle working full time and still being a good mom to my baby. Especially being a FTM or dad you have so many thoughts running through your head. You just want to be the best you can be but there is going to be times you'll screw up but you'll learn along the way. Once the baby comes too those worries will subside.
