Would you recommend a Montessori school?

I've been reading about Montessori schools and am currently implementing some of the theories and contemplating placing my daughter in a Montessori daycare when she turns 3. Any mom's have experience with this style of learning? Would you recommend it? We have a regular preschool right across from our house so that's also a tempting option.

I attended Montessori until I entered second grade.  The most important thing it did for me was to foster my ability to question, to learn because I really wanted to, and to feel independent.  There are, I believe, limitations to the method but for early childhood it is perfect.  Unfortunately, there are many schools who say they are Montessori but are not.  Really study the method, know what practices and activities you should be seeing on your visit, and be prepared to pay a lot of money.

I worked at one for 3 years just so I could bring my lo with me and it was awesome the kids were soooo smart and they loved learning

I'm very interested as well. I'm in Canada and have not really done much research yet but it's something I would like to discover.
