Do you think i could possibly be pregnant?

I have been having head aches more than normal and been having heartburn/acid reflux and been tired alot my period is supposed to be Monday I'm on a birth control patch but a couple of days ago I start having a mucus like discharge with a lil blood in it anyone have any idea or advice of what could be going on? My doctor said it's possible that if ur over a certain weight that the patches can not work as well
