This came to mind because I love the name Ellie, but it's kinda common here so Elsie is similar but different enough. Pronounced EL-see

I worked in a nursing home and took care of a lady named Elsie. She was just the sweetest most kind lady ever. She melted my heart. I'm a big fan of the name! :)

I think it really suits a young girl and an old lady but I don't know about a middle aged woman. We also love the but this is the only thing we are umming and arring over.
