Just wondering if there's certain things that could make a test negative other than not being pregnant ?

Answer

Testing too early (before you have enough hcg in your body) is one way.  If your urine was diluted from drinking too much water you could test negative. And a test can be invalid if there are weird lines on it.  I was the lucky winner of a super dark evap line on a blue dye pregnancy test recently. Pretty sure I am not pregnant and was pretty mad about the unclear results. Those are the only things I can think of.
