Hurting boobs means baby is hungry?

Is it true that when youre away from your baby and your boobs have a let down and they hurt, that theyre hungry ?? Kind of like thats normally when theyd eat but since youre not with them they just hurt...
Shes away with my mom rn and im guessing this is the time she would be eating and i feel like asking my mom if shes fed her yet or not bc my boobs hurt 😣 but i dont want to sound too pushy

I am pretty sure your baby will let your mom know when she is hungry. You could always just send a text asking how she is doing? That way, you can get an update without coming off as being too pushy.

My lo is 18 weeks and feeds on demand. There are days when my letdown does not sync up with when she wants to eat.

Yes! lol when I'm away I know when baby is hungry/eating .. your body is somewhat in routine on how often you feed so it's a good sign that you're producing well
