I've been on numerous birth controls over the past year, having started with the pill, Nexplanon, and then the depo shot. I've noticed that since I've been on the depo shot, I've seem to have lost some of the "flexibility" I had in my vag. I've heard that the depo shot can do that, but it was to the degree I would tear badly every time my fiancé and I tried, to the point I was bleeding. I've been off the shot since September, and some of the flexibility has returned, but I still tear quite frequently - despite having bought lube - no matter the position.
