How much do your newborns eat ?

My baby just ate 4 oz at 1 week old! My pediatrician said the baby will let me know when he's full so that's why I don't take the bottle from him, he slept a good 4 hours so I'm just assuming he was really hungry for waiting an extra 2 hours to eat but man just a few days ago he only barely ate 2 oz. How much are your babies eating in one feeding?

My daughter varies. She's 3 1/2 weeks and sometimes she'll only eat one ounce, sometimes 2 oz, sometimes two 2 oz bottles an hour apart, and sometimes 3 ounces. Most commonly its 2 oz every 2 hours. She knows how to tell us she's hungry too & when she's full she'll tuck her lips in literally & lock them lol.

Mine is 5 weeks and will eat 4-8 oz at a time it differs a lot with her

My daughter is 5 weeks and she eats 2.5-3 oz. every 2-3 hours. At night she sleeps about 4 hours then gets up to dream feed and go right back to sleep for another 3-4 hours.

At 3 weeks mine boy wpuld eat 8oz and some times only 4 or 5 oz. Just depends.  Usually he sucks me dry after each feeding and i Usually get about 8-10 ounces when i pump.

My son is going to be 6 weeks tomorrow and since 3 weeks he's been drinking between 4-6 oz every 3-5 hours

My 3 week old son is apparently eating 140ml in one sitting!! I weighed him immediately before breastfeeding and immediately after and he gained 140g. I'm going to keep weighing him over a few feeds to get an average though because this seems kind of high!

My son is eating 4-5oz every 2-4 hours or so and he's only 17days old! The ped said that he's gaining back what he needs so its nothing to worry about for right now
