I don't have a SO or anything but I am sexually active. Every time I've done anything I've always used alternative protection which is fine but my friends think I should go on the pill just to be extra safe. I would just do it but I'm a minor so I would have to have my mom take me. She says she will but my parents are divorced and I'm on my dads insurance so it would have to be really worth it to try and work that out. I also get a lot of acne and cramps so I heard birth control can maybe help with some of that. So do you guys think it's worth it to ask my mom to take me to the doctor to get a prescription?
