My parents don't want me to be with or marry my boyfriend because he isn't the same nationality. But I'm in love with him. If I choose him am I wrong for going against their wishes? But if I don't choose him am I wrong for leaving him?

Being a different nationality is not a reason to leave someone. If he's a bad person or your religious views are completely opposite, then sure. Bring him around your parents more often so they can get to know him and hopefully they'll learn to like him.

It's not selfish. It's selfish of them to expect you to stay within your nationality when you are in love with someone else. I don't mean to be rude but it's a little closed minded or them to expect that.
